Our much-loved Membership Director, Barbara May, is in the middle of a major move including a
rebuilding of her new home - so Barbara cannot contribute to this month's newsletter. We look
forward to hearing from Barbara in July, when - hopefully - she is settled again.2) ISBA CONGRESS
NOVEMBER 2003
We have pushed the term for low-price registration (July 15) for ISBA members who wish to attend
the ISBA Congress in November 2003. Payment is in English Pounds as the congress is held in London
and the dollar price is very low currently. A full agenda and new registration pricing is available
on our web site.3) MAY ARTICLE
We didn't advertise the May month article in last month's newsletter. It was written by Gabriel
Donleavy, and can still be read by membres in the members area on www.businessastrologers.com.
The article is titled "A Primer of Corporate Astrology".4) JUNE ARTICLE
This month's article is written by Robert Gover and is available to the public until July. It
is titled "A Clerk`s Mistake and Corporate Supremacy".5) TRAINING COURSES - FINANCIAL

EVENTS DATABASE
Hi,
I wanted to make you aware of a new online database of astrological events and seminars that has
been developed at http://www.skyscript.co.uk/uk/events.php
This is a free resource to allow astrologers and organisations to promote their activities in
a context that is always up to date and relevant. Dates, locations and event titles are included,
leading to fuller descriptions which includes links to relevant email, website and postal addresses
or telephone/fax contacts.
To open the database I have included details of all your events that I am aware of. I would be
grateful if you could check these out and ensure that the details are all correct.
For future inclusion, please keep me informed of your planned events by emailing details to: events@skyscript.co.uk
As far as I am aware, this is the only database of this nature that can be accessed on the web.
Naturally I am keen for as many astrologers to know about its existence as possible. Since it
is a new resource I would be most grateful if you could make your members or associates aware
of it, perhaps a small reference to it in any newsletters or online services that you have.
Regards,
Deborah Houlding
7) JUDITH LEVY - QUESTIONNAIRE FOR BUSINESS EXECUTIVES
Hello.
I am conducting some research for an assignment as part of my Masters degree at the University
of Bath Spa. The subject is about the use of astrology in the workplace I would be very grateful
if you could answer the following questions for me in as much depth as possible. All questions
are optional although the more information you can give me the more relevant the research is likely
to be. Please pass this on to any executive that you know who works within business and is happy
to participate, I must know who they are and have their permission to use the info but am happy
to keep all these details confidential if you wish (but if so can you explain why you would rather
not be mentioned by name). I also work as the Chief Executive of a medium-sized retail organisation.
Thank you so much, your input is greatly valued. Judith Levy.Questionnaire for Business Executives.
What is your current role at work?
How long have you been in this role?
Are you often responsible for taking decisions?
If so, do you need to get other people to agree to your decisions in order to implement them?
Do you know your astrological sun sign? Do you know your moon sign or rising sign? Do you ever
read the horoscopes page in the paper, magazines, internet etc..? Do you think that astrology
can work...never.... occasionally....sometimes.....always....don't know? Do you have any religious
beliefs, can you give some details? Have you ever consulted an astrologer outside your work? If
yes could you give some details about how often and for what purpose? Do you know the name of,
or how to find a business astrologer? Do you know anyone who has consulted a business astrologer?
Have you ever consulted or used the advice of a business astrologer? If yes was this on your own
instigation or was it motivated by a colleague? Please give some details. If no, would you ever
consider consulting a business astrologer? What might influence your decision? If yes, did you
find the advice helpful? Can you give details of how the advice was or wasn't helpful? Were you
able to implement the advice..... in part....completely.....or not at all? Why do you think this
is? If yes, how many people are aware of this, can you give some details? Have you discussed this
either with people at work, or outside work? If so what sort of responses have you had? Whether
or not you have consulted an astrologer could there be any problems in discussing this subject
openly? Do you feel that those who believe in or use astrology could be open to ridicule? Have
you ever been ridiculed for consulting an astrologer or suggesting that astrology could work?
If you have consulted an astrologer in the past would you do so again? Please add any comment
here that you feel could give me additional information. May I have your permission to use this
information. May I give your name or do you wish to remain anonymous?
Thank you once again.
Judith Levy. Oxford May 2003.Best regards,
Karen & Hannah
