We welcomed two new members to ISBA last month, but one of them is not beginning his membership
until the beginning of the year, so we'll share that new name with you then. In October, we welcomed
Radu Serban as a professional member from the UK. It is gratifying to see our numbers increasing
in that country! Is word getting out ISBA is hot?

2) ISBA Lilly
Every New Year, ISBA awards recognition to a business astrologer or financial astrologer who has
contributed an extraordinary effort for astrology.
This effort need not have been within ISBA, it can also have been within our profession in thepersons
home country, etc.
The person is selected through recommendation from other members, which is why we encourage all
members to mail us their suggestion for the person to be given this year's ISBA-Lilly. Feel free
to argue briefly - or in length - for your nomination!
3) 2005 ISBA Congress in Amsterdam
We have held congresses annually in London for some years, but we have now decided to move to
Amsterdam. Still in Europe, which isn't quite fair to our many non-European members, as it is
expensive and time-consuming to travel this far. If interest is shown we will therefore hold the
ISBA 10th anniversary in the USA. Likely, our choice will be beautiful and sunny California.
Back to the Amsterdam congress. This will take place in April 2005. As you may notice, there is
more than one year between future congresses. This is caused by the fact that it quite simply
is to much to arrange a congress every year. Until now, I (Karen) have primarily drawn the work
load, and currently I find it too heavy.
But mark your calendar in the years 2005 and 2007.
It is my pleasure to announce that Faye Cossar, the Netherlands, has offered to help with the
practical arrangements when that time comes.

I just wanted to share with you all that I will be presenting a lecture to Friends of Astrology
of which I am a member on Friday, November 21 @ 7:30 pm at Sanctuary Crystals in Alsip, Illinois
(for the locals).
The lecture is titled Astropreneurship™ - >From Part-time Hobby to Full-time Professional.
I think a book will be an outgrowth of this lecture.
For those who may wonder, SOULAR WISDOM™ is alive and well. I am preparing to take one of
two certification examinations for astrologers on December 6th with the American Federation of
Astrologers.
