Members Corner
In December ISBA grew by two new members from the Netherlands and Australia.
They are:
« Marisjke Hulsing – The Netherlands
« Jill Amary – Australia
As usual we greet these two business astrologers warmly, and we hope that you will benefit from
your membership of our society.
Furthermore we look forward to seeing you at the upcoming Astrological Congress in May in Amsterdam.
Vladimir Gorbatceivich – workshop continued
At the end of this newsletter you will find Step 7 of the Average Chart workshop. Thank you for
your great efforts, Vladimir
The ISBA Trust
As ISBA is now safely past the first big obstacles – our 8th birthday is coming up in March
– we have decided to establish the ISBA Trust fund to support projects furthering research
of and development of business astrology and financial astrology.
Starting with 2005, this Trust fund will each year receive 10% of our profits, and when we reach
a reasonable amount, we will ask one of our skilled financial astrologers, Bill Meridian, to invest
our capital in sensible projects.
You need not apply for project support yet ( J ) as our financial foundation still is very small.
However, we expect this to change as the years go by. Any donation to this important subject will
be appreciated and received with happiness.
New Article
Paul Nipperess has contributed this year’s first new article – check out the web site.
Thank you, Paul, for your continued generous and PRODUCTIVE efforts!
Georgia Stathis: Taped Annual Forecast Lecture
Our member, Georgia Stathis, is giving an exciting lecture in the beginning of February –

During the course of the last few weeks, we have all witnessed how the world can change in a moment
and, once again, we are reminded of the preciousness of life. 2005 is a year of transition for
our psyches as well as our lives. It adds up to a number 7, which is a sacred number in many disciplines.
The 7 chakras, the 7 notes of the musical scale, the 7 seas. The 7 (Seven) is the Chariot year
and the image is that of a charioteer holding powerful horses straining to run in all directions.
Their driver’s skill herds them into one direction by year’s end. – bringing
change in life, career, relationship, location.
Sometimes we experience inspiration and vision and that vision grabs us and nudges us into new
directions. The key is to listen and be Conscious. The horses of the chariot represent Consciousness
and the bridling of this to make better our lives-both spiritually and tangibly. Ms. Stathis is
an internationally known lecturer who teaches at Kepler College in Seattle, Washington. Kepler
is the first Bachelor’s and now Master’s program to be taught in Astrological Studies.
She has lectured at Unity for many years and is an entertaining, yet informative speaker. There
is no need to know astrology to attend this lecture.
Tapes of this lecture will be available through the Unity Bookstore after the event. Pre-order
them for $15 plus shipping and handling. Arrive early as seats fill up for this annual event.

6. Data from members
It is now several years since we last promoted our database, which you as a member have access
to – look for it in the Member’s Area.
We have gained many new members since we last informed about the database, and we want to encourage
you all to send any data which you are willing to share with your fellow astrologers.
We are interested in for example:
Data concerning your country
Data concerning larger companies
Data concerning managers in larger companies
Data concerning business events in your country
Don’t hold back! Please send us anything you have, and we will sort it for you, if necessary.
You can also check out the Member’sArea to see what is already there to evaluate your data.
Many thanks in advance!! Course Pages on the ISBA site
The Course pages on the ISBA site are right on the verge of being public. Right now we advertise
Tim Bost and Vladimir Gorbatceivich and the courses they offer. If any of you wish to advertise
any education or courses you offer – any scope, any subject within business astrology or
financial astrology, please don’t hesitate to forward your material. It’s free, and
we are happy to include you illustrations.
Best wishes and a happy new year

SOME ANSWERS FOR SOME QUESTIONS ABOUT GROUPS
Here I’ll speak about some answers (using AC) for concrete questions about groups.
There are a lot of standard questions. I give you only some examples – which factors we
may to use, if we want to answer some usual questions.
For any group we can calculate AC (see Step 2). In this chart we choose some special factors,
which are connected with a given special question. Sometimes it is necessary to use not only one,
but two or more factors. But it will be better to divide previously our initial question into
some elementary parts (elementary questions) and only then to begin as trologicalinvestigation.
SOME ELEMENTARY QUESTIONS
Below you see some special kinds of elementary questions (in alphabetical order):
CREATIVITY – Sun, his (I prefer here and below to use sometimes “his” instead
of word “its”) position and aspects to the Sun. V house, planets in V and in Leo.
Harmonic chart H5.
DEVELOPMENT – Jupiter, his position and his aspects. Planets in IX house and in Sagittarius.
EFFORTS – Mars, his position and aspects. Pluto, his aspects with Mars and Sun. Squares.
INFORMATION - Mercury, his position and aspects. III house and planets there. Uranus and his aspects.
EMOTIONAL ATMOSPHERE - Moon, her position and planetary aspects to the Moon. Ruler of the Moon.
EXPANSION – Jupiter, his position and aspects. IX house and planets there, aspects to these
planets.
GOALS – MC, planets in X, aspects to these planets and to MC. Saturn, its position and aspects
to Saturn. Ruler of X (his sign, House, aspects)
IMAGE - ASC, its Sign, planets in I house, aspects of these planets and aspects to ASC. Also sometimes
MC, planets there and aspects. Ruler of I house (its sign, House, aspects).
NUTRITION – the Moon, her position and aspects. Ruler of the Moon.
PARTNERSHIP – VII House, its sign, planets in VII, their aspects. Aspects to the DSC. Venus,
her position and aspects.
STRUCTURE – Saturn, his position and aspects. Sometimes – X house and planets there.
TRANSPORT – Mercury, his position and aspects. III house, its sign, planets in III.
SOME MIXED QUESTIONS (examples)
1. Organization of documents – here we have to find a connection between Mercury and Saturn.
Also midpoint Mercury | Saturn is very useful here (but we may get almost the same information
– on some other level - without using any midpoints). Also connections between III and X
houses are useful ets.
2. a coordination between a structure and a development – here we consider first of all
connections between Saturn, X and planets in X and Jupiter, IX and planets there. Also the midpoint
Jupiter | Saturn may be used.
Home task
1. Ask yourself some question about our “artificial” group and try to answer this
question using our AC. For example – “is it quiet group?” By the way, there
are a lot of different understandings for the word “quite”!
2. Ask some questions about your groups and find answers with aid of your AC. Compare your answer
and realities for these groups.
3. What do you think, is our “artificial” group is really artificial? What ASTROLOGICAL
arguments pro and contra do you have?
Here I am finishing a “standard part” of my Workshop. Next Steps are depended on your
interests and questions – which areas of AC theory and practice are interesting for my students?
I remind you some possible themes of next Steps:
Steps 8-11 APPLICATIONS OF AC:
A. a sinastry between two AC’s.
Mutual aspects between two AC’s. For business groups – aspects between two Mercuries,
between two Marses etc.
B. a sinastry between AC and charts of members of a group.
Sometimes it is very useful to find a personifications of some group’s functions. For example
– who is a personification of Mercury in AC? To answer this question we have to find some
strong aspect to Mercury from some very important planet in a chart of some group’s member.
C. Redistribution of duties in group of employees.
Sometimes in a business group some main functions are distributed with some mistakes. Using AC
and aspects to AC from members’s charts, we can find some better distribution of these functions.
D. Choice of the candidate for some vacancy in a group.
First of all, it is necessary to formulate group’s problem, which we want to solve by means
of adding some new member to this group. Then we have to formulate this problem astrologically
and to find some planets in AC, which are connected with this problem. And then we investigate
aspects to these planets from charts of candidates.
E. Choice of a method of teaching for concrete group of students
It is a special, but very interesting (for me, but may be not only for me) problem. How to solve
in? Very easy – by investigation of Mercury in AC and, in some cases, of Jupiter and, very
seldom, of Saturn in AC of this group.
F. Analysis of sports teams, of research group of scientists and so on. Studying of some very
special kinds of groups.
There is extremely wide field of astrological activity here. We can use here standard astrological
methods, but it is necessary to reformulate them for AC and for some concrete type of groups.
G. Some prognostic methods for AC.
Transits as a main tool.
Progressions – they are describing an inner development of a group. Sometimes in business
astrology I use progressions with some nonstandard velocities.
Charts of Solar and Lunar revolutions.
