2. New Vice President in ISBA
It is with great pleasure, that I (Karen) can announce a new Vice President in ISBA. A position which only has been filled in the early days of ISBA’s existence. After 10 years as President of ISBA, I must admit I am looking forward to getting new inspiration from a business astrologer, who is as passionate about astrology and its dissemination as I am myself.
Jeannie Mathiasen, Denmark, will present herself below. Apart from being Vice President, she will also be responsible for the ISBA Congresses in the future.
In the next issue of ISBA News, you will receive information on when and where our next congress will take place along with the subjects, which will be covered.

Profile of: Jeannie Mathiasen
First of all, I would like to say thank you for the opportunity to be part of  ISBA. I hope, I will be able to bring good inspiration to the Society and not least to the future congresses.
I am 41 years old and have a Masters Degree in marketing and communications. For the past 15 years, I have been working in marketing and communications – latest as Communications Manager in a large Danish company. However, I have always been working in the international business environment and I have been living and working in Izmir, Turkey and in London, England.
Along with studying business astrology, I also have a Diploma in Astrology from the Irene Christensen Institute in Copenhagen.
Since we are astrologers: I am Taurus with the ascendant in Aries.
Apart from the astrology, I paint – and sell – intuitive paintings.

3. New userid and password for Member's Area
Autumn is getting closer – in Scandinavia at least – and by 18. September we will get new userid and password for the Members Area. The new codes are:

Userid: autumn
Password: sep1809

Please do remember to use lower-case letters!

4. Pluto and Saturn – by Loveen Israni
We have received the below question from  Loveen Israni. We are happy to receive comments, which you are welcome to sent to: info@businessastrologers.com
"Just wanted to draw everyone's attention to the following for discussion purposes:
During the series of 3 Saturn Pluto geocentric oppositions back in 2001/2002 the global economy was down, the markets were predominantly in bear mode and events like 9/11 shook us up.
Starting September 2006 (already in orb) until mid next year there are a series of 3 Saturn Pluto contra-parallels in Declination. Could this partly explain what is going on in the world right now? "

5. New articles in Member’s Area
As usual there are new articles in Member’s Area. Especially, Paul Nipperess from Australia is a very busy writer.
Many thanks to all contributors.

6. Press coverage of Bill Meridian
Finally, it should be mentioned that Bill Meridian – Board Member of ISBA – once again has hat very fine recommendations in the public.
