Common Charts: Calculations and Analysis. A research idea
by Vladimir Gorbatsevich
1. Main chart (MCh)
a). A chart of some firm
or b). A "common chart" for some group. How to calculate a "Common chart" (CCh):
DATE - the mean ((D1+D2+...+Dn)/n) of all dates Di for members of this group. By date I mean and a time of birth (GMT).It is impossible to take midpoints here (because any calculation of midpoints is multivalued - for example, there are THREE values for a
common midpoint of three planets). A calculation of the mean date can be done by some special astrological program for PC.PLACE - a place of a meeting or an action of this group.
2. Analysis of planets in the Main Chart (main steps):
a). Planets, their meaning in MCh.
Sun - general goal for this group, an essence of group interests.
Moon - group reactions.
Mercury - information, education.
Venus - choice, general values for this group.
Mars - actions, efforts.
Jupiter - expansion.
Saturn - structure, organization.
Planets Uranus, Neptune, Pluto does not have an individual meaning
(but we can use their aspects).b). Aspects to Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto.
c). Planets without (major) aspects.
d). Planets with "difficult" aspects (45 degrees, 90 degrees, 135 degrees, 150degrees, 180 degrees), orbs as in natal charts or some less.
e). Planets in houses.
f). Some other methods (midpoints of two planets in one chart, rulership
and so on).
3. Comparison of the Main Chart with individual charts (ICh)
a). Aspects between Sun in MCh and planets in any ICh.
b). Aspects between Mercury in MCh and planets in any ICh.
c). Aspects between Mars in MCh and planets in any ICh.
d). Some special methods (nodes, trees of midpoints...).
SOME APPLICATIONS
This approach helps to solve group's (firm's) problems by aid of a proper choice/invitation of some new member for this group (firm). Also it helps to get some general information about this group as a whole.Example 1 Astrological firm
Problem - weak, afflicted Saturn (structure, organization). A method of solving this problem - to find a person with good aspects to this Saturn from his Sun or Mars (not Mercury, Venus, Moon and other planets for men, Moon is possible for women) or ASC.Example 2 A group of students (for example, in astrology) and a Teacher. Here CCh for this group (without Teacher's chart) can be calculated too. An interpretation of this chart gives some interesting information about this group and ... about the Teacher (with unknown chart)!
Sun in CCh here describes the Teacher very good (I have done it many
times). Important factors here
sign of Sun, sign of it's ruler, aspects to Sun.
Mercury - about the methods of working with information, which are
appropriate to this group.
Moon - about general form of reactions of the group.
and so on...There are many other examples:
- Group (business, scientific and others in personnel management) an it's leader,
- Football (and other sports) team, and so on.
